Dial-A-Ride Service
Those with Americans with Disabilities Act certification (application approval required) are eligible for this public transportation program in the Fort Collins, Colorado area and can use this service from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, save major holidays. The cost for each way on this bus service is $2.50 per trip, and reservations are taken up to two weeks in advance by calling the Dial-A-Ride office at 970-224-6066. Those who need to cancel need to give at least an hour’s notice. Those who refuse rides or don’t show up when the bus driver shows up are subject (eventually) to having their privileges suspended unless medical delays cause this. It’s best to be as communicative with the office if there are problems with showing up for a bus ride. Drivers are usually there for passengers between 15 minutes before/after the scheduled time of the reservation.
