The Wahl Stainless Steel Lithium Ion+ trimmer takes personal grooming to a new level in stylish design and with the cord free convenience but with the longer lasting performance of Lithium Ion technology.

A cheaper plastic trimmer just feels wrong when you’re trying to style and trim those always seen areas like a mustache and beard especially when you want to put your best public face on. The cord free convenience makes a better experience for trimming without the risk of accidentally snagging the cord on that faucet.

While this may sound like a commercial, I have been using a Wahl trimmer for years and getting the handy beard and mustache trimmer out with its five-foot cord on a weekly basis can be a bit of a pain. The bigger pain is when the cord snags on that faucet and suddenly you have this wavy blotch where you wanted a smooth clean edge.

Several times in the past I have done this and a cord free trimmer would be the perfect tool for grooming and the nice selection of heads and guides also makes a much better tool for grooming. Wahl has the perfect answer to personal grooming in the Stainless Steel Lithium Ion+ trimmer that has a lot of nice features.

The trimmer comes with the Stainless Steel trimmer body with four interchangeable heads, eight guides for the wider T-Blade clipper head, four guides for the trimmer head, a small bottle of oil, cleaning brush, beard and mustache comb charger, stand, and instructions. The set includes a very nice assortment of guides including one guide for the smaller trimmer head that is adjustable but the four heads for the clipper and trimmer make for a nice grooming tool.

The trimmer outer shell is a solid thick stainless while the body is a plastic but the switch assembly is solidly fixed to the body which stopped me from going further inside. The head easily snaps into the front end and are easy to both install and remove but you also do not wind up snapping off the head when removing the guides.

The Wahl Stainless Steel trimmer first and foremost is a rechargeable tool with Lithium Ion batteries and can last up to four hours of run time. The Lithium Ion technology means faster charge times as well as longer lasting charges for the best in a rechargeable device.

The two trimming and clipping heads are made from stainless steel for both the head and the cutting teeth so you have a rust resistant main set of trimmers. The detail shaver which is probably not going to be used nearly as much as the other heads is made from plastic with stainless steel blades.

The clipper and trimmer heads are great for facial hair, eyebrows and the top stuff especially for close work around the ears and sideburns. I really don’t shave anywhere else but the wider trimmer does well for any hair even if it is not all growing in the same direction and kind of kinky.

The included nose and ear clipper is your standard round trimmer that I have never really used except to try them out when reviewing but they work well enough without yanking out hairs. The plastic detail shaver is great to get those really close trims where you want the closest possible cuts but you don’t want to have to bother getting out a razor.

I use the detail shaver around my cheeks when I get those stray hairs suddenly growing away from my beard toward my eyes to keep things neat all around. The main clipper head is about one and an eighth inches wide which is perfect for trimming up the beard and mustache.

The inch and a half wide trimmer head is great for haircuts, trimming around ears and getting those finishing touches done as well as longer beards. With the combination of both the trimmer and clipper heads any style of facial hair and those other areas should be well covered as far as trimming and grooming.

The Stainless Steel trimmer is not really meant for a full hair cut but my wife has done a great job on my own hair with the trimmer and a pair of scissors. The weekly trimming I put the clippers through with my beard is the main focus of the trimmers and the Wahl Stainless Steel continues to perform well.

I really like the cord free trimmer and the feel of a nice hefty stainless steel body gives me the sense that the clippers are not a cheap quality. I like the heftier weight as well as it gives me better control than my plastic trimmer that is easily half the weight as this one but oddly weighted while using because of the cord.

Using the guides are easy as they simply snap on and off and even the adjustable clipper guide makes for a nice feature for any length trimming you need if the standard guides won’t work for you. The adjustable guide makes for a nice addition to the eleven others for a more rounded out product that makes a great trimmer and clipper set.

I will keep you informed on my Jeffs Reviews site if this trimmer and clipper set from Wahl has any problems in the future as long term use over a year or more is the true test to these types of products. I highly recommend the Wahl Stainless Steel Lithium Ion+ Trimmer for a great and handy trimmer and clipper set that costs about $60.
