What can you say when talking about a stylus other than it works or it doesn’t? How about one that comes with a spare tip, has sleek but simple styling and works well enough that complex drawing and even small screen smartphone use is no problem. The Spigen H14 stylus comes in a variety of colors and comes with a spare tip for quick and easy replacement if you need it but the tips have been pretty resilient for me without any tearing.

The Spigen H14 Stylus is a simple design with a pen body and the tip made from silicone with a high polymer coating top prevent tearing and to aid in smooth gestures and use. The lightweight body of the stylus is brass covered with a plating in a variety of colors with a clip on the end but I did have problems with the clip on one stylus while the other clip has remained attached and unbroken.

I received two Spigen Kuel H14 Stylus Pens for use with my tablets and smartphones and they have come in handy for everyday use as well as those times when a finger just does not cut it like settings or texting on my Samsung Galaxy Stellar. The black H14 I received does have a bit of a problem with the clip which broke first at the tip where it is bent over for easy insertion in a pocket.

I also tried to clip the stylus on my tablets soft elastic band and the clip broke off so the one stylus no longer has the handy clip but I don’t think this is a problem with the stylus in general. The clip broke too easily which I suspect is just a simple defect while the second white H14 I also received has had no problem with the clip while using the stylus on a shirt pocket, on the same tablet case and other uses.

The Spigen H14 works extremely well with the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet and my Next Book Next5 as well as my Samsung Galaxy Stellar Smartphone for use on the capacitive touch screens. I have played around with drawing on the tablet and the tip is very responsive for drawing as well as those general gestures while surfing the internet or playing casual games.

The H14 does have the replacement tip that comes with each stylus so you have one replacement but the company does not sell others beyond the one extra that comes with each stylus. The H14 stylus is a lightweight brass that does have the great capacitive touch screen capability so you can use the stylus with any capacitive touch screen but it does not work at all with resistive screens.

The Kuel H14 Stylus from Spigen works very well and other than getting a clip that was defective the stylus has worked very well for me on several devices that makes for a handy and always ready stylus for capacitive touch screens. I highly recommend the Spigen Kuel H14 Stylus which is available from the Spigen website as well as Amazon and various eBay stores for about $17 which is average for a touch screen stylus of this quality.
