I am very choosy about what brand of toilet tissue I use. I remember wanting to try to pinch pennies, so I purchased the store brand toilet tissue and when I used this, I would have been better off walking outside and yanking a leaf off the nearest tree and using that. All of the store brands of toilet tissue have the kind of texture that reminds me of a plain piece of writing paper. Ouch! Not good. On my next trip to the store, I looked for a new brand to try.
My first choice was Angel Soft, then following soon afterwards was Charmin and then White Cloud. These were all okay and better than the sheets of paper I was using! There was something still missing. Softness. I wanted to find one product that offered a variety of choices and that would have the cotton feel softness to it that I wanted and I knew it was out there somewhere and I was not giving up until I found my toilet tissue.
One day while shopping at our local Wal Mart, I spotted Kleenex Cottonelle. The first thing that caught my eye about this product was the picture of the sweetest yellow lab puppy playing with the toilet tissue. All of the Cottonelle packages have the same cute lab puppy on them and they are engaged in different activities on each package. For my first purchase, I chose a four roll package to try.
The packaging that the original product comes in is light blue that goes almost three quarters around the entire package and on the front, there is a picture of the cutest yellow lab puppy, and he is playing with a roll of the tissue and there is a few sheets wrapped up over his back. When I opened the package and took a roll out, I could tell by just the texture of this product that I had found my tissue. This is soft enough to use if you run out of facial tissues. Cottonelle has a cottony feel to it and feels extra soft and gentle against your skin. This product matches it’s name perfectly. I have also tried the Aloe Vera and Cottonelle Ultra. With each package of tissue I have tried, I have noticed that each one has it’s own unique texture and strength. Whether you have one sheet of this product or several sheets, they feel like a ball of cotton.
Kleenex Cottonelle is available in several varieties:
A plain white four pack, the first product that came out. This package has a picture of the lab puppy playing with a roll of the tissue.
Ultra, which combines softness and strength in one product. This package has a picture of the puppy sleeping underneath a pillowy soft blanket and makes you think that the puppy is dreaming about how soft this tissue would be for his bed.
Aloe Vera this also contains Vitamin E as well so both of these combined provides a gentle touch. This package has the usual cute lab puppy on the front and he is laying down holding a bottle of Aloe Vera between his front paws.
Three is also a product made especially for kids now. It is called Cottonelle Kids. It is in a teal colored package and ahs the lab pup inside a little yellow submarine and he is on the bottom of the ocean going treasure hunting. What is so cute and neat about this one is that each roll of toilet tissue inside the package has little teeny tiny blue paw prints and the lab puppy. This is a fun way to teach kids to use just the right amount of tissue. What they do is, just follow the paw prints on the roll of toilet tissue and when they come to the picture of the puppy, this is where they tear the tissue off at. This makes bathroom time more fun. My niece and nephew love their Cottonelle Kids toilet tissue. I had to buy some for both of them when I first saw this product on the shelves.
This toilet tissue has the cushiony soft feel that I want.
