Product Review: Baby Connection Convenience High Chair

High Chair

Since I now have a young grandson, I needed to get a high chair. A friend loaned me the high chair she used as a child- a sturdy, metal-framed chair with padding, a removable tray and foot rest. They sure don’t make them like this anymore! I was pleased the chair is sturdy, even after forty-odd years, but it only has a black nylon strap to hold baby in. My grandson kept sliding down until, out of desperation, I tied my winter scarf around his waist to secure him. While that worked, I immediately went out and bought a modern high chair. Read this “Product Review: Baby Connection Convenience High Chair” and find out
if this product is a good buy, or not!

Product Description
The Baby Connection Convenience High Chair doesn’t look much like it’s earlier counterparts. I mean, it has four sturdy metals legs, but it’s body is made of hard plastic. It features a large tray that’s adjustable to four positions. It can be released easily with just one hand, which is a bonus. The tray also has a built-in cup holder.

A vinyl padding covers the entire seat of the Baby Connection Convenience High Chair, making it comfortable for little ones to sit there. Along with the plastic body, the padding is easy to clean with just the wipe of a damp rag. The pad is also removable.

*I have to add a word of caution here- a friend of mine used Chlorox Wipes on her vinyl pad. Before long the pad began to crack. She was sure the Chlorox Wipes were the culprit as she also used them on her vinyl tablecloth and got the same bad results.

This high chair also has a convenient towel bar and a foot rest.

Probably the most important part of the Baby Connection Convenience High Chair, though, is the molded plastic restraint bar. There’s no way baby can accidentally slide out of this high chair! In conjunction with the plastic piece, there’s also a belt to hold them in securely.

This product comes in a pretty-good sized box, and there is a little assembly required. But it only took a few minutes and a Phillips screwdriver to put it together. This high chair measures 40 inches high, 24 inches wide and is 21 inches deep assembled.

Price and Availability
Wal-Mart carries the Baby Connection Convenience High Chair at a price of about thirty dollars. Just for the heck of it, I checked my local Big Lots. They had a few of these chairs in stock for only twenty dollars, so I was able to save ten bucks by buying one there. (It always pays to check around!)

Conclusion
Add the fact this product meets the Consumer Product Safety Commission standards to its other details, and I don’t think you can find a better high chair for the price! It’s so affordable that you could even purchase one to give as a baby gift.

What does the user have to say about his new high chair? My grandson loves it! And I highly recommend it! There’s nothing about the Baby Connection Convenience High Chair that I can find wrong. Affordable, easy to assemble and clean, and it’s a safe, comfortable seat for baby. I almost forgot to add there’s a cut out in the back that makes it easy to grab it with one hand and move it around the kitchen. A definite bonus when you’re holding baby in the other arm!
