Pensacola Fairgrounds events for Thursday, October 21st, 2010.
On the first day of the Pensacola Interstate Fair, Cat Country 98.7 and Seville Quarter will be putting on a ‘Catty-oke’ event. Cat Country and Seville Quarter are looking to find the best karaoke singer in Pensacola. If you have a great singing voice, be sure to attend this event. Prizes include your own professional demo recorded at the Lucky K studio, Budweiser merchandise, a $100 bar tab, and more.

On the second day of the fair, the band 38 Special is performing a live concert at the fair stage. This 80’s rock band is sure to be a hit with everyone attending.

The recently formed country band, Steel Magnolia, will be performing at the Interstate Fair on Saturday. This band is going places fast, so be sure to attend while you can.

Dora The Explorer and Diego are coming to Pensacola, live! Be sure to bring any young children you have so they get a chance to take pictures with their favorite explorers.

Direct from Las Vagas, Jay White will be performing a tribute to Neil Diamond on Tuesday. Make sure to get there early so you can find a good spot to watch.

Missed Tuesday? Don’t worry! On Wednesday, there will be an encore performance of Jay White’s tribute. This may change closer to the fair date, so make sure you keep checking back.

Radio station TK 101 will be hosting a Hooter Wing eating contest on Thursday. Think you have what it takes to be the winner? You could walk away with big prizes if you’re right.
Pensacola Fairgrounds events for Friday, October 29th, 2010.
Three bands will be performing on Friday. The first is the hard-rock band Seven Mary Three. They will be followed by the grudge band Sponge, and last, but certainly not least, Marcy Playground will be performing live on stage. Any rock lover will be sure to enjoy this night.

Excited for Saturday? If you’re not, you should be. Charlie Daniels, best known for their number one country hit, “The Devil Went Down to Georgia”, will be performing live. Be sure to get a good seat!
Can 2010 live up to the amazing performances that were had at the 2009 fair? Only time will tell!
