Notes on Pazzaluna. Pazzaluna is one of the St. Paul restaurants that is downtown, with plenty of parking available. The menu has a good variety of dishes. Many of the salads and pasta dishes would be fine for a vegetarian, and the menu does change to allow for seasonal dishes. It is one of the largest of the St. Paul restaurants with seating for 450, but even so do make reservations. The wait time is not usually long, but they do get large parties and that can take up room very fast. Of course, the bar does make any wait time a pleasant experience. As for the quality of the food, the chef is a gold medal award winner in world class cooking competitions. If you want a real special time, inquire about having dinner at the chef’s table. It will cost a bit more, but it is a once in a lifetime chance to have the most unique dinner ever.
