I am very picky when it comes to skin care. I had troubled skin since I was fourteen and I have been using products ever since than. I am thirty six years old now.
I am used to buying very expensive products because somehow I thought the more expensive the product, the better quality it will be. Somehow the skin around my eyes is very sensitive and I showed reaction to all the eye contour creams except one which was La Mer. The problem with La Mer is – it is very expensive! I tried to use at least eight or nine different department store brands but they all hurt my skin. I looked at consumer reports and saw that Oil of Olay was at the top of their list. Honestly, Oil of Olay was a brand I never thought of using.
I was surprised by how cheap the price of Oil of Olay Regenerist Eye Lifting Serum was. I thought if I am not happy with it, I can use it around my lips or I can just throw it away.
I used the Olay Regenerist Eye Lifting Serum after a shower for the first time. It felt like a soft thin balm. To my surprise, it did not irritate my skin. Some of these products start irritating my skin after a few days of using them so I was still skeptical after my first experiment.
I kept on using the Olay Eye Lifting Serum for five consequtive days, after my shower in the evenings and after washing my face in the mornings. I showed no reaction! I had finally found a cheap eye serum that my skin was comfortable with.
Today, it is been over a month that I have been using Oil of Olay Regenerist Eye Lifting Serum. The skin around my eyes seem happy with it as well as my budget plan. After I smooth it on my eye lids and under my eyes, I also do a light massage with my finger tips.
I would not like to be exaggerating the power of an eye serum or any cosmetic products but I do think this serum works. Surely it creates no miracles as nothing will but this one works.
