Another great thing to do to prevent an asthma attack if by drinking warm milk and honey every night before you go to bed. The licorice root tea is high in anti-inflammatory which help bring down the swelling in the lungs, throat, and air almost immediately allowing you to breathe freely without any wheezing or coughing. You can drink licorice root tea every day safely as well to help prevent an asthma attack from occurring. Drinking licorice root is simply one of the best and most effective ways of getting an asthma attack under control fast.

The last best thing you can do to help prevent and stop an asthma attack is by breathing in the scent of lavender or eucalyptus oils. These particular oils help calm the mind while you breathe them in and relax the body allowing you to breathe easier during an asthma attack.
