“Natural Perfect Vision” Improving Your Vision with Eye Exercises and Diet

Eye Exercises, Improve Eyesight

We need our eyes so much. We use them for almost everything and feel lost when something happens to them. Yet, how often do you actually take the time to do something for them. It’s easy to see that when people exercise, their body becomes stronger and healthier. The thought of doing easy eye exercises on a regular basis is often laughed at by professionals. And why not? If you start to do eye exercises and your eyes actually improve, then who exactly is it that loses money?

I’ve spent most of my life doing eye exercises. And for years, I’ve had strong eyes. It’s only been in the past couple of months that my vision has really started to get blurry. I mentioned this in a recent article. The problem I was having was with Canola oil. I’ve converted back to my regular oil, which is rice/bran oil available at most Oriental stores, and my vision has gone almost back to normal.

Since I’m getting older, I realize that I need to focus on my eyes a bit more. Instead of spending a couple of minutes a week doing eye exercises, I need to spend 10 or 15 minutes a day doing them. This is mentioned in “Natural Perfect Vision.” Keep in mind that if you have never done anything for your eyes, it will take some regular focus and time to see any improvement. According to the “Natural Perfect Vision” book, some of it has to do with your diet. He says that drinking, eating the wrong foods and more can actually affect your vision. Think of the eyes as a big cleaner. They actually work in conjunction with the biggest cleaner in your body, the liver. So when you put something in your body that isn’t good for you, the body goes into cleaning mode. And that junk you’re eating affects your eyes thus affecting your vision.

One of the eye exercises from “Natural Perfect Vision” is called Distant Viewing of Objects. Start by sitting in a chair. Bring your finger or a pencil close to your eyes. Close one of your eyes. It’s easier for me to place a hand over one eye. Examine the pencil or your finger for several minutes. Notice the color of the pencil or the color of your finger nail. Move the finger anywhere from right at your nose to arms length away. Focus on the pencil or your finger. Then using the same eye look 30 feet off into the distance at something. Notice the details on the object in the distance. Then pull back and examine the pencil or your finger again. “Natural Perfect Vision” recommends that you do this exercise 20 to 30 times. When you open the eye that’s been closed, it will take a bit of time to readjust to the light before you can continue with the exercises.

The “Natural Perfect Vision” book has really been a gift to me. Some of the stuff in the book, I already know and yet even that part helps. Mainly because people just don’t tell you this stuff anymore. It’s written in a very easy to understand format that keeps reminding me that to keep good vision, I need to focus on the basics.
