My Favorite Women’s Swimwear for 2011

Bikini Bottom

Every summer seems to be a battle for me. I tend to be particularly picky when it comes to choosing some great swimwear pieces. With a little research, I found some great pieces that I’m sure you will love as much as I do.

Juicy Couture has an amazing variety of women’s swimwear to choose from. One piece that I have fallen in love with is the ruffled skirt swimwear bottoms. These ruffled skirt bottoms became popular last year and I still completely recommend them. They are fun and girly yet cover more than a bikini bottom. Juicy Couture has a variety of these skirts to choose from that cost upwards towards $99. Cheaper alternatives can be found on Nextag for around $40 or even at Lane Bryant for $22.

All women have days where they aren’t feeling their sexiest. For those summer days, I prefer to wear a one piece. Badgley Mischka has an amazing one piece swimsuit with wide straps that is sold at saksfifthavenue.com. This swimsuit is sure to have you looking your best even when you’re not feeling your best. This suit by Badgley Mischka retails for $108. A cheaper one piece swimsuit that has the same essence can be found at Target. It is made by Merona and has the same overlapping of fabric as seen on the Badgley Mischka swimsuit. It also has the wider straps. Merona’s swimsuit retails for only $34.99.

Clube Bossa is known for their swimwear and how well it is made. They have this amazing one-shoulder bikini that by glance, I fell head over heels for. The problem, it retails for $510. I found a pretty close alternative by doing some research. Macy’s happens to carry a swimsuit that slightly resembles the Clube Bossa swimsuit. It at least has the one shoulder strap, which was my favorite part of the two piece suit. Macy’s one shoulder suit is made by Becca and comes in your choice of two colors. It is also much cheaper retailing at only $74.

The swimsuit pieces that I have found are obviously geared towards my personal style however, they are great for nearly any body shape or size. I hope that these designer finds and the cheaper alternatives that I have found help you out with your search for the perfect swimsuit!
