Manhattan is home to some of the most famous Music Venues presenting every type of entertainment form opera and classical music to jazz and modern dance. Also, during the summer months the City Parks host free summer concerts featuring the most popular entertainers from the world of music and from the Broadway Stage. These venues are entertainment only, but if you want to make a memorable event of your evening out, there are excellent restaurants near all of them. Most of the sites have mailing lists and I suggest you subscribe to them. There are two venues at Lincoln Center that present concerts. Alice Tully Hall is for more contemporary forms of music while Avery Fisher Hall will have more classical music. They host a Mozart Concert each year. Lincoln Center is also home to The Metropolitan Opera, New York City Ballet
