A Mother’s Day Brunch with your family has become one of the most popular ways to celebrate the day. There are quite a few places that you can celebrate brunch on Mother’s Day. Here are a couple local places in Cleveland.
Mapleside Farms. Mapleside is located at 294 Pearl Rd., Brunswick. Brunswick is about a 20-30 minute drive south of downtown Cleveland. Mapleside is not only a restaurant but has an apple orchard, a gift shop, a bakery and a deli. They offer a Mother’s Day brunch buffet from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm. Some of the things that the buffet includes are omelets made to order, pancakes, sausage, bacon, biscuits, sweet rolls, home fries, beef and chicken. This place is definitely child friendly and if it is warm (you never know in Cleveland) you can talk a walk around the grounds.
Nautica Queen. The Nautica Queen is a dinner cruise that goes around the lakefront and river. They are located on the west bank of the flats in downtown Cleveland with their parking lot located off Winslow. The brunch is from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm. The cost for adults is $41.75. 100th Bomb Group. They are located at 20920 Brookpark Road right across from the airport. The Mother’s Day Brunch is from 9:30 am – 2:30 pm. The cost is approximately $26.00 for a brunch buffet for adults. The buffet includes over 100 specialty items and champagne. Reservations are a good idea. Goodtime III. The Goodtime III is a quadruple deck, 1,000 passenger luxury boat that goes around Lake Erie and the Cuyahoga River. They are located at 825 East Ninth Street Pier – North Coast Harbor in Cleveland. The Mother’s Day brunch cruise takes place from 12:30pm. to 3:00pm The cost is $31.95 for adults and $22.95 for kids ages 2-11. Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. For something a little different, go to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo for their Mother’s Day brunch. They are located at 3900 Wildlife Way in Cleveland. The brunch takes place at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Their are two different seatings located in the zoo auditorium. Reservations are required. The price is $22.50 for adults and $8.50 for children ages 3-11. The price does not include admission to the zoo, although admission is free for all moms on Mother’s Day. The brunch is a set menu that includes some of the following; scrambled eggs, bacon & sausage, a cereal assortment, made to order waffles, chicken marsala with wild mushrooms, oven roasted pork loin with apple chutney, whipped potatoes, made to order ice cream bar and coffee, tea, milk & juice. This is a great place if you have young children and you want to spend the whole day together as you can visit the zoo after brunch.
House of Blues. The House of Blues is located at 308 Euclid Avenue
in Cleveland. The House of Blues restaurant has a Gospel Brunch on Mother’s Day. The seating time is 11:00am. The brunch includes a all-you-can-eat southern style buffet that features breakfast favorites plus a host of southern specialties. At the same time a Gospel group will be performing some uplifting gospel music. The price is $30.00 for adults and $15.00 for children 6-12, children 5 and under are free but still require a ticket. The only way to order tickets for this is to call the House of Blues box office at 216.523.BLUE. This is an excellent option if you enjoy Gospel music.
Pier W. Pier W is located at 12700 Lake Ave. (off West 117th Street) in Lakewood. Their Mother’s Day Brunch is from 9:00am – 2:pm. The prices for the brunch are adults are $21 and children, ages 5-12, are $10. Reservations are not requires but are very important unless you want to forever.
