Skate Parks in Las Vegas, Nevada

Las Vegas Tips, Open Space, Skate Parks, Texas State Parks

According to the official website of the City of Las Vegas, there are currently nine operational public skate parks around the city.

Those intending to hold private events can check out the Park Reservation Information Brochure (downloadable through the City of Las Vegas website) or they can call 702-229-6718.

All Las Vegas city parks are equipped with restroom facilities.

Doc Romeo Park
West Cheyenne Avenue and Ronemus Drive Las Vegas, NV 89128

The 30-acre Doc Romeo Park is a non-reservable park that provides skating areas and other sports and recreation facilities for public use. Aside from the skate park, it also features eight baseball/softball fields, two 60-foot youth baseball fields, two youth softball fields, three multi-purpose youth/adult softball fields, a 90-foot youth/adult baseball field, two playgrounds, and a concession stand.

Durango Hills Park
Durango Hills Park, Las Vegas, NV 89129

The Durango Hills Park features a 4-acre recreation property complete with a skate park, an 18-hole executive golf course, two basketball Courts, a walking/jogging track, tennis courts, picnic area, playground, and an open recreation space. This park provides selected areas for reservations.

Freedom Park
850 N. Mojave Rd. Las Vegas, NV 89101

Freedom Park along Mojave Road has an approximate size of 68 acres. It features a skate park, six baseball/softball fields, two bocce courts, four horseshoe courts, a fitness course, a jogging/walking path, four playgrounds, 23 picnic areas, three soccer practice fields, a concession stand, and an open space. The park also features the Carlos L. Martinez and Darrio J. Hall Family Pool. Reservations on specific areas are available in this park.

Garehime Heights Park
Campbell Drive and Alexander Road Las Vegas, NV 89129

The Garehime Heights Park is approximately a 10-acre park with selected reservable areas for those organizing private events. Skaters can take advantage of its skate bowl and other park facilities including two playgrounds, seven picnic areas, two basketball courts, two tennis courts, a jogging/walking path, and an open recreationspace.

James Gay III Park
Owens Avenue and B Street Las Vegas, NV 89106

James Gay III Park is a relatively small non-reservable park located along Owens Avenue and B Street. This 5.37-acre park is an ideal space for skaters and it also features a picnic area, a climbing wall, a playground, and an open space.

Mountain Ridge Park
Durango Drive and Elkhorn Road Las Vegas, NV 89149

The medium-size Mountain Ridge Park is about 32 acres in size. This non-reservable park is located along Durango Drive and Elkhorn Road. It features a skate park, seven baseball/softball fields, a roller hockey rink, two tennis courts, a jogging/walking path, a playground, and a concession stand.

Police Memorial Park
Cheyenne Avenue and Metro Academy Way Las Vegas, NV 89129

The 24-acre Police Memorial Park has a dedicated skate bowl for skating enthusiasts. It also offers a roller hockey rink, a basketball court, two tennis courts, two playgrounds, and a jogging/walking path. This reservable park also features a dog park (3 dog runs), a picnic area, a desert garden, an open space, the Fallen Officer Tree Grove and Memorial Wall, and the Lou Gehrigs (ALS) Tree Grove.

Sunny Springs Park
Buffalo Drive and Golden Talon Avenue Las Vegas, NV 89131

With approximately 9 acres of property, the Sunny Springs Park features a skate park serving those near the Buffalo Drive and Golden Talon Avenue in Las Vegas. This reservable also has a fitness course, a water play area, two horseshoe courts, two playgrounds, a jogging/walking path, four tennis courts, two basketball courts, and an open space.

W. Wayne Bunker Family Park
Tenaya Way and Alexander Road Las Vegas, NV 89129

Skaters can use the dedicated skate park at the W. Wayne Bunker Family Park along Tenaya Way and Alexander Road. This 21-acre, reservable city park is also equipped with other amenities and facilities including two playgrounds, two boccer courts, six picnic areas, two tennis courts, a jogging/walking path, a volleyball court, 12 horseshoe courts, and an open space.
