I don’t know if you’ve read my review on Miss Dior Cherie——, but if you did, you would know that I’m not a big fan of the fragrance. I love Dior, and Miss Dior Cherie bottle has the most adorable old Hollywood appeal, but the fragrance itself just wasn’t my type.
I automatically assumed that L’eau would be just as bad. I assumed it would have stronger floral notes, and the floral notes in Miss Dior Cherie were my problem.
When I smelled Leau, I was pleasantly surprised. I immediately smelled notes of lime and lemon. I love the scent of lime, but I’m not too fond of lemon. Sometimes lemon is overdone, but it was just perfect in this perfume.
As I continued to sniff, I got a whiff of oranges. After that, I started to smell white grapefruit. It was this beautiful blend of citrus fruits–and I loved it!
It has this soft, sweet scent to it, but it’s so citrusy at the same time. It reminds me of Light Blue by Dolce & Gabbana, but it’s more girly and softer. It kind of has that sweet citrus scent that is in Acqua di Gioia, which is another fragrance I love.
It’s definitely more of a summer or spring fragrance, but it’s gorgeous. The scent lasts forever. I recommend it to everyone! I give it 4 out of 5 stars.
