I love the nightlife. I love to boogie. Unfortunately, there aren’t many places to get your freak on in Nashville, Tennessee, but the few places there are will have you dancing the night away. So put on your dancing shoes as I take you on a tour of Local Nashville Dance Clubs.
3-Blue Bar

Although they are open 7 days a week, they only have the dance club on Friday nights from 10-3AM. This dance party is hot! The DJ plays the best urban set of music I can get down to. They play everything from Old School Hip/Hop and R&B; to today’s best music. The crowd is an eclectic mix from college students to professionals to hipsters. It tends to get a bit crowded but bearable. This is a fun atmosphere. You might find yourself dancing the night away with some strangers. Everyone is cool and friendly. There is no cover charge and the drinks are pretty cheap. The average drink price is $4. The bartenders are very accommodating and give service with a smile. There is a private parking lot.
2-Hollywood Disco

This nightclub is reminiscent of the movie Saturday Night Fever. The dance floor even lights up. They play a wide variety of music to get your groove on to. They play everything from Michael Jackson to Nelly to Prince and even today’s top 40. This is a fun atmosphere where the whole crowd gets involved. Whether singing along or busting a move. There is a $10 cover charge and the drinks are a bit pricey but it is totally worth it. The bartenders are quick and attractive. You will not want to leave the dance floor. The average price per drink is $8. There is nearby parking but it can be a bit stressful on the weekends so you might want to cab it.

This is a gay nightclub but is also filled with straight men and women who love to dance and have a good time. They typically play dance and house music. This is one of my favorite places in Nashville. Play is a dance club but also has a Drag Burlesque show. The dance club is in a separate room away from the Burlesque show which is located in more of a lounge type atmosphere. You will see some of the most beautiful Drag Queens ever. They always have a slew of fun events such as the play pajama party, college night (free cover for students) and service industry night (free for service industry folks). There is usually a cover charge of $15. The sexy, buff bartenders know how to make a stiff drink! The average drink cost is $8. There is a parking lot on premise.
