LG is known for producing some of the world’s most technologically advanced products available today. It doesn’t matter if they are making cell phones, television or even your washer and dryer, Lucky Goldstar (LG) has been manufactureing works-of-art for years. And this is true with their newest addition to their cooking line.
I am talking about the LG Kitchen Series 30″ Self-Cleaning Freestanding Convection Electric Range, Model: LRE30955ST. This freestanding convection oven is one of the nicest, and most well-equipped electric ranges I have seen in quite some time. And if you are familiar with LG’s other electric range, than you are well aware you’re going to be in for a treat with their newest cooking machine.
You will be surprised whenever you discover all of the various features that are available on this machine. The surprise won’t be from the sheer quality of the features, but how user-friendly and convenient all of these features actually are. With this LG freestanding convection oven you get the SmoothTouch controls, which you will find is the best way to operate your convection oven. With an oven that has so many features and various cooking methods, you need to have a control panel that is extremely easy and user-friendly, and you will find this with this oven.
Another cool feature is the overall size of this oven – you will be able to cook in the massive 5.6 cubic foot oven that comes with two whole racks, as well as a half-rack. There are literally no limits on what you can cook inside of this oven. No matter if you are heating up a pizza for your friends, or if you are preparing your Thanksgiving meal, you will find that this oven has ample room for anything you throw at it…or should I say, in it.
Some of the other features include five radiant cooking elements on the cooktop of this electric range. You also get the benefit of having a triple element burner, which accommodates dishes from 6″, 9″ all the way to 12″. You will be surprised at the overall flexibility this oven will give you. With this oven, you also get the delay bake feature, which actually allows you to delay your cooking time until it is most convenient for you.
One of my favorite features that this oven features is the warming zone on the cooktop. This is absolutely perfect if you are cooking a larger meal and one of your dishes is finished before the other, now you can just place it on top of the warming zone and it will sustain the temperature of the food, without cooking it further. As well as the warming zone, you also get a warming drawer, which is found directly below the oven. This acts just like the warming zone, however, it is an actual drawer you can put your food into.
The warming drawer is absolutely perfect if you have a large meal that requires several things to be cooked in the oven. Now you don’t have to stress about one dish getting cold while the other dish is cooking, you can just keep the completely dish comfortably warm in the warming drawer.
As you can see, this is one of the most advanced freestanding convection ovens available on the market today. There are so many other features that come with this electric range, however, in order for you to gain full respect for the features, than you must view them yourself. And with a price tag that averages $1800, than this oven is completely out of everyone’s budget. It definitely is more expensive than some of the other electric ranges that are on the market, however, for all of the features and extreme quality of this product, the price is definitely a steal.
