If you are looking for information on the “Dark Blue” cast members, you might be surprised at how many of them has been a part of other hit television series. Despite having a talented cast, the TNT show “Dark Blue” only lasted twenty episodes before it was cancelled. The show premiered in 2009, and revolved around Dylan McDermott’s character Carter Shaw, who led an undercover unit. He portrayed Ty Curtis during all twenty episodes of the short lived television series “Dark Blue.” He started acting in 2004 with roles in shorts before landing a part on the TV movie “Sucker Free City.” His first major motion picture role came in 2005 with a part in the movie “Beauty Shop.” Hardwick was a main cast member on the 2006 TV series “Saved,” which was a show that only lasted for one season. In 2010 this “Dark Blue” cast member had roles in two major motion pictures, “The A-Team,” and “Kick-Ass.”
  3. Logan Marshall-Green. Born November 1, 1976 in Charleston, South Carolina, this “Dark Blue” cast member played Dean Bendis during the entire run of the television series. His acting career started in 2001 with a role in the TV mini-series “Band of Brothers.” In 2005 he had reoccuring guest roles on two major television shows, “24,” and “The O.C.” During his run as a cast member on “The O.C.” he played Trey Atwood, the troubled brother to main character Ryan Atwood. In 2010 he had a feature role in “Devil,” which was a movie written by M. Night Shyamalan.
  4. Nicki Aycox. This “Dark Blue” cast member started out her acting career in 1996 with a guest role on the television show “Weird Science.” During the 90’s Aycox guest starred on many hit television shows including, “3rd Rock From the Sun,” “Boy Meets World,” “Ally McBeal,” and “The X-Files.” In 2005 she had an extended guest role on “Cold Case” in which she played Christina Rush for ten episodes. In 2010 she revised that role for two more episodes. In 2011 she starred in the television movie “Beyond the Blackboard.” On the show “Dark Blue” Aycox played Jaimie Allen for all 20 episodes.
  5. Tricia Helfer. During the second season of “Dark Blue” this cast member played FBI Special Agent Alex Rice. Prior to becoming part of the “Dark Blue” cast Helfer was on the television show “Battlestar Galactica” from 2004-2009. During her 73 episode run on “Battlestar Galactica” she played Number Six/Caprica, one of the Cylon models. She has guest starred on many television shows including, “The Whole Truth,” “Lie To Me,” Two and a Half Men,” and “Chuck.” Prior to becoming an actress, Helfer was a model who worked for Chanel, Giorgio Armani, and Victoria’s Secret.
