Leapfrog ClickStart My First Computer

Computer Mouse, Leapfrog

I don’t know what took me so long to talk about the Leapfrog ClickStart My First Computer. I think that I was so angry about the fact that my son got it for Christmas last year and he still hasn’t played with it.

I bought the Leapfrog ClickStart My First Computer for $50 and thought it was a neat idea and might be something that my child would be interested in. Considering the fact that he is always talking about having his own computer I thought that the Leapfrog ClickStart My First Computer would be perfect for him. It imitated a computer in more ways than one, which is the reason I purchased it.

The Leapfrog ClickStart My First Computer basically turns your television into a PC. Your child’s T.V screen becomes the computer screen, while the Leapfrog ClickStart My First Computer works as the keyboard and mouse. The Leapfrog ClickStart My First Computer comes with a wireless keyboard that automatically shuts off on it’s own, a cartridge-based console and a child sized mouse. Not only does it come with a child-sized mouse but it also comes with a right or left hand adjustable mouse pad.I thought that concept was the neatest out of all of the features on the Leapfrog ClickStart My First Computer.

When we first got the Leapfrog ClickStart My First Computer, my son was excited to check it out and so was my husband and I. When we hooked the Leapfrog ClickStart My First Computer up to his television, it wasn’t working properly. We figured we had the cables mixed up or something. So we switched the cables and got it up a running. But for some reason the Leapfrog ClickStart My First Computer wasn’t displaying in color. The box shows color and all of the advertisements we seen showed color as well. We weren’t sure what was going on.So we bought another one, switched out and returned. We ended up getting the same result. I’m not sure if this might have been a glitch in the model but as far as I could tell the Leapfrog ClickStart My First Computer was flawed.

As if matters couldn’t get worse, the Leapfrog ClickStart My First Computer ‘s mouse stopped working. See, we tried to get our son to work through the black and white issue. But even with us trying to do that, we still ran into problems. Since the mouse doesn’t need batteries we couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t working the way it should have been. It got to the point where I was tired of dealing with the Leapfrog ClickStart My First Computer. I too it back and got a complete refund.

The Leapfrog ClickStart My First Computer is a waste of money and time. Of course, this is coming from my personal experience. Don’t let me stop you from at least trying the Leapfrog ClickStart My First Computer because in the end you might just end up getting better results than I did.
