The iconic Fat Tuesday’s from New Orleans has become a staple on the Las Vegas strip with 5 locations; it needs to become the number item on your to-do list in Vegas. Fat Tuesday’s is located at The Mandalay Bay hotel – 2nd floor, Caesar’s Palace – The Forum Shop’s, MGM Grand- Star Lane Shops, Planet Hollywood – The Miracle Mile Shops, and at the Stratosphere hotel.
This is seriously the best place to get really great cheap drinks for a fabulous price. This isn’t really a sit down kind of a place but more of a 7-11 style grab a drink and go kind of a place. The famous fruity, slushy, alcoholic drinks are a must have with more than 25 different drink combinations they are well more than worth the money. The sizes are huge, the famous yard long will have to at a happy buzz for a long time and for the price – around $16 and then you can add extra shot/shots for a $1 a piece. They have just about every kind of alcohol to add to your drink including Everclear and they are all still only a $1 a shot. Although the drinks are not that strong as is, at least adding a couple dollars worth of shots is still well worth the price and you won’t be disappointed in how buzzed you’ll get after just one. Unlike some of the other places that also offer these long frozen alcoholic drinks on the strip, Fat Tuesday’s is the only place that gives you a special card for refills that only cost you $8. A standard martini at any other lounge will cost you $12 and domestic beer is $7, so you are getting the best deal here.
I’ve been to all but one of the Las Vegas locations and everyone who has been here will agree that the bartenders are what make Fat Tuesday’s the best place to get a monstrous drink. They also have Jell-O shots available at Fat Tuesday’s for around $1 a shot, and it seems to be the only place on the strip that has this available. Tip the bartenders before they actually make your drink and you’ll be able to sample millions of different kinds of combinations before purchasing your actual drinks; it’s like getting an extra drinks for a couple of extra dollars; seriously very much worth it all.
