Kung Fu Panda Themed Party Favors for Children

Holiday Ham, School Lunch Ideas

Are the pint-sized inhabitants of your home obsessed with Kung Fu Panda? Has their love for the character spurred you to start thinking about planning a themed party? If so, I’d like to offer up a few themed party favor suggestions. Here they are:

PEZ Candy Dispensers

PEZ candy dispensers are one of my favorite party favors. Thankfully, the company makes a whole series of Kung Fu Panda dispensers that fit perfectly inside goodie bags. The series features Master Shifu, Po, Master Monkey and Master Tigriss. You can typically buy a dozen of the dispensers for $20 through select party supply shops like Candy Warehouse. Even though each dispenser tends to come with two candy cartridges, I’d still suggest picking up a few candy refills while you’re at it. That way, the kids will have something to put into the dispensers once they get home.

Mad Libs

If your party guests are elementary school age children, you may want to consider purchasing Kung Fu Panda Mad Libs. In my experience, they are fun, inexpensive and just the right size. You can generally buy a 2 pack of the Mad Libs through select book retailers for $4.

Books

Are you working with a sizeable budget? Well then, you may want to think about handing out Kung Fu Panda paperback books. I have found that sometimes you can scoop one up for as little as $4. It all depends on the book’s title and the retailer. Inexpensive book titles to look for include Cathy Hapka’s “Kung Fu Panda 2 Mystical Memories” and Dreamworks’ “Kung Fu Panda 2 True Warrior Coloring and Activity Book.”

Mini Figures

Do you want to give your guests a party keepsake that they can play with? If so, I’d suggest buying sets of Kung Fu Panda miniature figurines and dividing their contents up amongst all your guests. In general, an 8 piece set of figurines will set your finances back by about $20. You can typically find the sets on sale at assorted toy retailers and major department stores.

Notepads and Stickers

I have found that Kung Fu Panda notepads and stickers make great party favors too. They tend to sell for less than $2 a pack through specialty retailers like Party City. The notepads that I am familiar with feature a full-color graphic of Po. The stickers, on the other hand, usually feature full-color graphics of all the series’ characters. They often retail for the same price.

Chocolate Pops

Lastly, you may want to contemplate handing out Kung Fu Panda chocolate pops. There are companies that sell a variety of themed candy molds that may be used to make the pops. One of them is Molds-n-More. They sell a Kung Fu Panda candy mold that makes six pops featuring Po the Panda for $4. If you do decide to make the treats, I’d suggest packaging them in green candy boxes outfitted with themed stickers. You can generally purchase green candy boxes through packaging related retailers like Nashville Wraps and Paper Mart.
