It’s no secret that the Kardashian clan is a close-knit crew — they’re tighter than a pair of tights on Kim Kardashian’s tush. However, Kourtney Kardashian’s recent offer to breastfeed the Kimye baby might leave even the most devoted of Dash dolls feeling a little freaked out.
During an appearance on “TODAY,” Kim recalled Kourt telling her this about how families used to raise children: “[Kourtney] said ‘in the old days, and maybe we should try this, one sister should babysit all the kids, so I can go out or vice-versa, and whichever sister is babysitting should just breastfeed all the kids that are there.'”
According to EntertainmentWise, Kourt denied saying that the sisters should try this old-fashioned form of child-rearing, but she did state, “I didn’t say let’s try this. But (Kim) did say, ‘Does that not freak you out?’ and I said, ‘No, it doesn’t.'”
So if Kim Kardashian is afraid of the effect breastfeeding will have on her cleavage, she knows who to turn to.
This wouldn’t be the first time Kourtney Kardashian raised eyebrows by offering to help one of her siblings in a strange way — during a 2010 episode of “Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami,” she gave Khloe Kardashian a bikini wax.
And if Kourt did decide to make an upcoming episode of one of her families’ reality shows a bit more bonkers by breastfeeding the Kimye baby, she could always argue that she’s not the only celeb who has shared her breast milk — in 2009 Salma Hayek made headlines when she was videotaped breastfeeding a starving African baby.
Since Kourt is so giving when it comes to her body, who knows? Maybe someday there will be some truth to those old rumors about her agreeing to be a surrogate for Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom.
Speaking of Khloe’s struggle to conceive, Kim’s pregnancy could actually give her hope. During the “TODAY” interview, Kim divulged that she also experienced fertility issues before getting pregnant. It was also revealed that Kim’s due date will be in July, which is the same month that Kate Middleton’s bundle of joy is expected to make a royal arrival. But even if Pippa Middleton was a mom, it’s hard to imagine her offering to play wet nurse to Kate’s kid.
Kim went on to say that she’s not going to be the same kind of mom Kourtney is — she’s not going to kick Kanye West out of bed to make room for her kids.
