Pet Groomer
If you love dogs and cats, and think you’d like making them look their best, this job might be for you. Dog groomers bathe pets, cut and style hair, and occasionally brush teeth as well. They sometimes work with agitated animals. Some dog groomers work in a pet salon and other’s own their own studios. Some will even work from home.
Payscale.com reports that pet groomers earn between $20,161 and $36,417 a year. The pay varies depending on location, experience and hours that you work.

Equine Therapist
If you enjoy helping kids and love animals, you might pursue a career as an equine therapist. An equine therapist (also known as a “horse therapist”) works with horses and children in therapy sessions. Equine therapists work with children who have autism, brain injuries, spina bifida, mental health issues and more. Some equine therapists work with children who have been abused or neglected. It’s a wonderful career choice for students who loves horses and helping others.
Animal Trainer
A third exciting job is an animal trainer. This one is not in high demand, but if its something you are passionate about, you might still consider it. You could work at places such as Sea World. Pet Sitter

Veterinarian
A very common career choice for students who love animals is a veterinarian. If you are gifted in science, have great eye/hand coordination, and don’t mind attending school for several years, this might be the career choice for you. Veterinary Technician
Another career choice is a Vet Tech, which is the equivalent of a nurse for animals. According to payscale.com, vet techs earn a salary of about $22,000 to $33,000 a year. Animal Care Specialist
Another job idea for animal lovers is to work as an animal care specialist. You can work at vet clinics, pet shelters boarding kennels and more. This is not a high paying job, but it can be a fun one for someone who enjoys helping animals.
