Marriage Licence
Each couple who decides to get married in Las Vegas will need to obtain a marriage licence prior to their wedding ceremony. The Marriage licence bureau is located at 201 Clark Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89155. The phone number is (702) 671-0600. It is open from Monday-Friday between 8:00am-midnight. It is interesting to note that both US citizens and non-US citizens must meet the exact same requirements when applying for a marriage licence.
In order to receive a marriage licence from Nevada, both partners need to show proof of identification. This can be a passport, certified birth certificate, military ID card or a Permanent Resident card. If you are from a non-English speaking country, the identification you show needs to be translated into English. The fee for the marriage licence is $55.00. Make sure that you have enough cash on you to cover the marriage licence fee, as it must be paid in full.
If either or both parties have been divorced, they do not need to produce their divorce decree. They simply need to know the day, month year and place that the divorce took place. Once the marriage licence has been issued, it is valid for 12 months and the marriage ceremony must be performed in Nevada.

Most of the packages allow you to rent the hall for 30 minutes (apart from the “Legendary Love” package that allows you to rent the hall for 1 hour) and the packages come with Medieval-style music, a bouquet for the bride, boutonniere for just the bride and groom, a commemorative certificate holder and a bottle of champagne. The photos also come inclusive in each of the packages, but the amount of photos you receive and the sizes vary according to the package you choose.
Costumes
You have the choice of bringing along your own Medieval costumes for your wedding ceremony or hiring costumes from Excalibur upon arrival. If you decide to hire a costume, you will have several choices. You can dress up as a king and queen, queen mother, a regent king, blue princess, red knight, purple knight, knave, a lady in waiting (various colours) or as a maiden.
You can also wear a headdress that is already provided with the costumes or bring along your own, such as a veil. The costumes must normally be returned straight after the wedding ceremony has been performed, which is one of the downsides. If you bring along your own costumes, you can wear them later on at the reception too.
Reception
Excalibur offers newlyweds an additional reception package if they so wish. The staff can cater for the bride and groom and their guests and provide a wedding cake, champagne, dance facilities and much more. It is entirely up to you. You can have as little or as much as you would like.
