How to Mke a Stirling Engine More Powerful Using Steam

According to Wikipedia, “A Stirling engine is a type of closed-cycle regenerative heat engine with a gaseous working fluid. “Closed-cycle” means the working fluid is permanently contained within the engine’s system, which also categorizes it as an external heat engine. Regenerative” refers to the use of an internal heat exchanger called a regenerator which increases the engine’s thermal efficiency.” Its an engine that runs off a heat source. These engines can also run on a cold source.

In these next two paragraphs, I want to talk about water as a liquid and as a gas. Wikipedia says this about a liquid, “Liquid is one of the principal states of matter. A liquid is a fluid that has the particles loose and can freely form a distinct surface at the boundaries of its bulk material. The surface is a free surface where the liquid is not constrained by a container.” And Wikipedia says this about gas, “A gas is a state of matter, consisting of a collection of particles (molecules, atoms, ions, electrons, etc.) without a definite shape or volume that are in more or less random motion.”

When water is in a liquid form, it takes up less space. When water is in a gas form, it takes up more space. What I am saying is that when water becomes vapor, it would create more pressure.

So here is my idea on how to make a stirling engine more powerful. Inside the heating chamber of a stirling engine, would be some liquid water. This water gets turned into steam. when that happens the stirling engine is in the expansion state. The water then condensates. This is when the engine is in its compression state.

My idea of this is to have a small amount of water in the engine. The engines cylendor would be faced in a vertical position. With the piston going straight up and down. This way the water would turn into steam on the bottom. The steam would get cooled down at the top. And turn into a liquid again. This water then would drop down, where it gets turned into steam.

By using a small amount of water, the water would turn into steam as soon as it reaches the bottom again. This way the stirling engine could have more horsepower. By using the effects of the water turning into gas, and back into a liquid again. A small amount of water would have to be used, because to much water would make the stirling chamber explode.

I would imagine this would work with a different liquid. But I used water as an example. Basically the idea is to use a liquid in a stirling engine. And use the force of the liquid turning into gas, and back into a liquid again. Giving a high expansion and retraction level.
