How to Make Money with Survey Spot

Free Paid Surveys, Online Paid Surveys, Paid Survey Sites, Paid Surveys

A couple of years ago, I got turned on to the idea of paid survey websites as a means of earning a little extra money. One of the first ones I came across was Survey Spot. After checking out and ultimately signing up for a number of paid survey sites, Survey Spot is one of the relatively few that I still like to use on a regular basis. It offers perhaps the largest number of invitations (only some are paid though – I’ll get to that a little later) and it’s easy to cash out and get money in your pocket.

I like Survey Spot because they offer a consistent number of paid survey invitations, clear payment options, and one of the lowest minimum payout thresholds of the paid survey sites (just a $5 minimum is required). If you’re interested in adding some extra money to your pocket and think that paid surveys might be the way to do it, here’s what you can expect when you come at Survey Spot.

1. Go to www.surveyspot.com and register. The website will ask you for some personal information and a few demographic related questions to help segment you to receive the proper surveys. You’ll receive e-mails with paid survey invitations whenever one becomes ready for you.

2. There are two types of invitations that you can receive – one with a cash incentive for completion and one without. Personally, I only fill out the surveys that offer me money for doing so. All surveys offer an “Instant Win Game” play and this is the incentive for surveys that come without a monetary incentive. The reward for every instant win play I’ve ever done has been entries into a Grand Prize drawing (somewhere between 5 and 100 entries). I have obviously yet to win the Grand Prize drawing so you can understand why I put such little emphasis on this “incentive”. The typical survey offers a payout of between $1 and $3 but can be as high as $15.

3. Once you accumulate a total of $5 in your account, you can request a payout. Surveys are typically credited to your account within about a week or two of completion. The money you earn will be sent out in the form of a check and generally is received within about a month from the time you request the payment.

4. This site also offers invitations to be a part of focus groups. The money offered for this can be as high as $50. I’ve never actually participated in a focus group so I can’t offer a lot of information on them but this is another good option for adding some extra money to your account if you’re willing to commit the time to it.

5. Like I mentioned before, I’m not a fan of the Instant Win game on this site. If I’m going to complete a paid survey, I want to be sure I’m getting something, not just an entry into a drawing. I get enough invitations offering a cash incentive that I can comfortably ignore those that come without one.

Survey Spot is probably one of my top 5 favorite sites for paid surveys. I like the large number of offerings, quick payouts, and frequent e-mail notification. Once you register, I think you’ll enjoy the same experience I have.
