They look more like you and me without there makeup, and there worst fear is getting caught without there makeup on. So don’t get caught without yours. Put your best face forward and follow these simple make up tips.
The most important thing you must know is that your skin needs to be moisturized and smooth before applying any makeup. So moisturize, moisturize, moisturize, this is the most important step. If your skin is dry then your makeup will not go on evenly, and your face will look uneven and caked on. So make sure your skin has a lot of moisture.
Then you are going to need a great foundation. To make your face look awesome you will need one that works for you. I can’t really help you out here but if your face is dry don’t use mineral foundations, use a cream foundation that is very light and creamy. If you have wonderful skin and need it evened out use a mineral foundation, they can really make moisturized skin look beautiful.
A great line of makeup is MAC, also bare minerals is wonderful as well. These are my personal favorites. The key to a great foundation is finding one that makes you look natural, like you are not wearing any makeup at all.
After your foundation is applied then it is time for your lips, eyes, and cheeks. Make sure to choose neutral colors such as earth tone colors. These go great with any skin tone. For your cheeks, you want to look a little flushed and have some color but you don’t want to have hot pink on your cheeks like an 80’s chick. Suck in your cheek bones and find where your cheek bones are located. Then put the color right there on your cheek bones and blend into the rest of your face.
Now it’s time for your lips. The glossier the better, but keep the color in a neutral color. Lip liner is not really in style any longer so just gloss them up and go. A good rule of thumb is to either play up your lips or your eyes never both. So if you have some sexy red lipstick that matches your dress, just wear mascara and light eye shadow. But don’t overdue the eyes.
Now for your eyes, select 3 colors they usually come in a duo. Put the lightest color just under your eyebrow. Take the medium color and put it up to the crease of the eye. Then put the darkest one in the crease of the eye. Now take your finger and blend all the colors together. Finish with black mascara and your done.
These tips should help you achieve the look that you are going for. My advice is to play with your makeup and figure out what you like. Now you can have makeup like the stars without having your own personal makeup artist.
