A.) Setting up anonymous call rejection-

Set up anonymous call rejection. Once anonymous call rejection is in place anyone calling from a private or blocked number will receive a recording instruction the caller how to unblock their number before the call will go through.

B.) Setting up privacy manager-

Set up privacy manager. This feature is a little more time consuming for callers calling your number. Callers will be required to record their name and telephone number when they call you. A call will be placed to your home number and you will hear a recording of their person’s name and phone number. You can then either accept the call or reject it.

C.) Using *57 to trace a call-

*57 will trace the last incoming telephone call. Your phone company will then log all the traced calls and will release them to the appropriate law enforcement. This method is only to be used if you are being harassed over the telephone. The telephone company will not provide the callers information to you based on privacy rights, but it will be released to the appropriate law enforcement for legal actions to take place. Each time you trace a call take note of the time and date in a call log book.
