How to Buy Victoria’s Secret Bulk Wholeasale on the Internet and Avoid Scams!

Kenneth Cole, Moda, victoria's secret

If you are looking to resell Victorias Secret Wholesale bras you need to make sure of a few different things so you don’t get scammed. –

Before I found VSPinkNation Victorias Secret Wholesale I had purchased what I THOUGHT was Victoria’s Secret “wholesale” from other venues like eBay. After getting royally shafted I have learned a lot that I want to share with the world so you can avoid the traps I fell into.

One is the tags. People can buy any bra, shirt, panty from Wal-Mart and chop off the tags and try to resell it as “Victorias Secret”. These liars claim that “tags have been removed to prevent store return”. The TRUTH is that Victoria’s Secret N-E-V-E-R makes the wholesalers they work with “cut off” tags. The process is that the tags on the inside of the garment have a small line drawn on them. This way if someone does purchase a wholesale item they can’t take it back to the store and return it for full price or a store credit. So if anyone ever tells you the apparel is MISSING tags they are selling you trash and calling it Victoria’s Secret!!!!

Second is the brand. Victorias Secret has a TON of brands! Of course there’s “Victorias Secret” but then theres “Angels”, “Very Sexy”, “Pink”, “Moda”, “Intimissi” – to name a few off the top of my head. Victoria’s Secret even sells SOME items like Kathy Van Zeeland Purses and Kenneth Cole swimwear. Victorias Secret DOES NOT sell Kenneth Cole Tee Shirts (like the kind you see at the Kenneth Cole Store) or sweat pants that say “Lane Bryant” on the tag! Victorias Secret doesn’t sell any kind of “logo shirt” bearing anyone elses logo except for their own. So if you see anybody trying to sell you good that say a name brand on the front other than a VS name brand, they are defrauding you! They likely found the goods at a store on a clearance rack and are reselling them!

Third is the price. Think about this; If a bra retails for $69 at Victorias Secret, the most you will probably ever be able to buy that bra for is $40 on sale. If it ever goes on sale. And even if it does, you wouldn’t have any profit as a reseller. What are you going to do? Buy it for $40 (plus tax, ends up being like $44) then try to sell it for $50? All that for $6 is stupid and a waste of time. You probably spent more on gas getting to the mall to buy the stupid bra.

But with that in mind; the wholesale company still has to pay for the bra. People think that “wholesale” means “free”. It doesn’t. Wholesale companies have to buy giant orders (like 10,000 – 100,000 pieces) at a time and they still pay 65% – 80% off retail. So if the wholesaler buys the bra for 70% off retail they are paying $21 for a $70 bra. They can then resell it to you for $23 and you can resell it for $40. Now everyone has made profit. You have made the most profit but the wholesaler had the fastest sale. If you buy 100 bras at $21 a bra, you have spent $2,100. The wholesale has made only $200 but the sale was easy. You then turn around and sell the bras for almost double your cost and you have made $4,000 – which is almost $2,000 profit! Great investment!

BUT you have to wonder when a wholesaler is selling goods W-A-Y to cheap. How are they able to sell Victorias Secret bras for $5 each? Well, let me tell you.

A. They are not Victorias Secret

OR

B. They are defective: They could have an error from when they were manufactured or they could be a product that was pulled from shelves because customers kept returning it (like an underwire wasn’t properly attached to the bra so it breaks). You DO N-O-T want to invest in these kinds of products.

So you really need to take into account the asking price and if it’s realistic. Expect to pay about 75% off retail when using a wholesale company. This is an average that I have found. Yes, some items will be 80% off or 90% off, while other will be 70% off.

Like I said earlier, I fell into a trap by buying items through a wholesaler I found on eBay. I really warn against doing this. Anybody can be anybody on eBay and there’s no way to tell if they are legit or not. I bought from many different people. One lady sent me a box of clothing that had all the tags cut off. I was able to have Victorias Secret identify the items as not being hers. Luckily I was able to recover a percentage of the hundreds of dollars I invested, but it was a terrible mess.

Another woman sent me bras that had the tags but they were weird brands. One was “Lady Princess”. I looked these up on Google and found out that this brand is sold through stores like Wal-Mart. Again, a mess. I was never able to recover a penny from her because she disconnected her Pay Pal account from eBay and ran.

But the worst time I got screwed wasn’t even on eBay. It was a seller that I believe I found thru a site called TradeKey. This seller was from China and wanted me to Western Union them the funds. I said that I would rather handle the transaction by Pay Pal, Money Bookers or thru a third party where I can keep records of my transactions.

Eventually I gave in and paid for a very small lot of lingerie. I only bought about 10 pieces costing around $275, which included shipping to the United States. They charged me $90 for shipping and when it arrived it was in a United States Postal Service box. It clearly wasn’t from China.

The items inside were cheap-o lingerie, like the kind you get for $5 off eBay. Probably the same people selling it on eBay!

I began doing research and found out that Victoria’s Secret doesn’t even work with China so the whole listing was bogus.

What I have learned through all this is that you really need to do your research. Order from a company that IS a real company, like VSWholesale / VSPinkNation Victorias Secret Wholesale. They have a tax ID and a properly structured business. They have amazing customer service. Doing things the right way will save you money long term!
