How to Apply Frosted Eye Shadow
1. Apply your favorite day moisturizer to your entire face before applying any make up.
2. Use a makeup primer or skip directly to your foundation. Dab foundation on your eyelids as well. Use your fingers or a cosmetic sponge, whichever works for you.
3. Sweep eye shadow over the eye lid and into the crease.
4. Blend a darker, matte color into the crease of the eye.
5. Add drama by adding matte color the outer corners of the eyes, sweeping up to meet the crease.
6. Finish with a matte, neutral color on the brow bone.

Fun Summer look: For a clean summer look, apply the frosted eye shadow only to the eyelid and blend lightly into the crease. Leave the rest of the eye area natural.

Mature Eyelids and Frosted Eye Shadow: Yes, you can!
When your eyelids mature and fine lines begin to appear, you do not have to abandon frosted eye shadow. You do, however need to take care in how you apply frosted eye shadow. If you apply frosted eye shadow with your fingers, the frosted shadow will settle into every fine line and tiny wrinkle.
Use a natural bristle eye shadow brush to apply the frosted eye shadow. With the brush you will have a smoother application of eye shadow, and the fine lines won’t be center stage.
You could also use matte shadow and save the frosted shadow to use as a highlight on the more taut skin of the brow bone.
