What Are Friendster Layouts?
A Friendster layout is the theme that is applied to your profile. This is like the template of your profile. There are also other names for Friendster layouts. They are also called Friendster Skins, Friendster Themes, and Friendster Templates. Normally, searching for skins or layouts will return more results. The layouts are free to use and can be easily installed on your profile.
Where Can I Get Friendster Layouts?
Friendster offers many different layouts you can use. If you can’t find the layout you are looking for on the Friendster site, you can always search Google for more layouts. When searching for the layouts, search for Free Friendster Layouts or Free Friendster Skins. That should return quite a bit of results. Below are a couple of great sites that offer the free layouts.

Friendster HubIf you use the Friendster site, this guide will help you with the layouts. In this guide, I will walk you through adding two kinds of layouts to your Friendster profile. I will show you how to install layouts that Friendster provides and I will show you how to install layouts from other sites using the CSS Code provided. First, we will take a look at the layouts provided on the Friendster site.
Friendster Layouts On-Site
Login to your Friendster account and mouse over the Profile link. Click the Edit Profile link in the menu. When the page loads, click the Customize tab on the page. The next page will show you small thumbnails of the layouts provided. To install a layout, click the Select button below the layout you want to use. The thumbnails only show the background of the layout. To get a full view of the Friendster layout, click Select to install the layout, then open your profile in a new window or tab. Every time you install a new layout to see it, refresh your profile page to see the changes.
Friendster Layouts Off-Site
Now we will take a look at installing a layout from other sites. On the other sites, you will need to browse through the layouts and find the one you want to use. Somewhere on the page, you will see the CSS code provided for that layout. You will need to copy that code. Then you will need to go back to your Friendster account page. You will need to click Profile > Edit Profile. On that page, you will need to click the Customize tab. This is the same page you were on when I was showing you how to install on-site layouts. You will need to scroll to the bottom of this page. At the bottom of this page, you will see the Customize CSS box. Paste the code you copied in this box. Then click the Save button at the bottom of the page to apply the layout. Now you can refresh your profile page to see the changes.
Friendster is becoming a bit more popular than it was. If this is your choice of social networking, the first thing you will probably want to do is change the layout and this guide will help you.
