People of all ages and races, including residents of Kansas City, Missouri are emulating these moves that can be seen in music videos featured on television outlets such as MTV and BET. Now, City of Fountains residents can perfect those hip moves and hop on down to the following studios offering hip hop dance classes.

Opening in 2006, Bella Studio of Performing Arts, offers a variety of fun classes, including beginners and advanced hip hop dance classes for all ages throughout the year. Group and private lessons are one hour long.
A contract is not required for enrollment and registration may made online or at the Bella Studio. Private lessons fees for singles and couples are charged at the same rate. Group class prices are based per students.

Learn street and club dance moves this summer by enrolling in intermediate and advanced hip hop dance classes at City in Motion starting June 9.
Teenagers and adults are both welcome and no previous dance experience is required for beginning classes. Fees for the nine week session are $99 (30 minutes to one hour) and $121 (more than one hour) based on one class per week. Two classes per week are $90 and $112 each, three classes are week are $81 and $103 each, and four or more classes are $72 and $95 each. Register by June 5 and receive a 10% discount. A single class is $15.

Beginning June 2, United Dance is offering hip hop dance classes for the summer on Mondays and Tuesdays for a 12 week session ending August 20.
Summer Registration is $9 per person. Tuition is due the first day of the month the class is offered. Fees range from $78 per week for one class to $423 per week for six unlimited classes. Single Classes are $10, one-half hour private classes are $13, one hour is $26, and one hour Studio Rent is $17.
