Ice cream is an item that I eat pretty much on a daily basis. Chocolate Eclair bars are among my favorite types of ice cream novelties on a stick and I regularly eat both the Hershey’s Ice Cream Chocolate Eclair Bar and the Good Humor Chocolate Eclair Bar. To be honest, I’ve never understood why these vanilla and chocolate-flavored ice cream treats are named chocolate eclair bars, but I sure do like eating them.

Texture / Consistency
Both of these bars feature several different pleasing textures. Each bar features creamy vanilla ice cream with a chocolate flavored center. The entire bars are then coated with cake crumbs, which are slightly crunchy. The cake crumbs on the Good Humor bar taste more chocolatey to me.
The chocolate center of the Hershey’s Ice Cream Chocolate Eclair Bar is the softer of the two and the chocolate fudge-flavored center of the Good Humor Chocolate Eclair Bar seems more candy-like.

Taste / Flavor
Over the course of the past year or so, I have probably eaten ten or twelve Hershey’s Ice Cream Chocolate Eclair Bars. During that time period, I ate maybe three Good Humor Chocolate Eclair Bars.
Honestly, both of these ice cream bars taste great, but when it comes to overall flavor, my personal preference ever so slightly leans toward the Hershey variety. The Hershey’s bar contains more sugar than the Good Humor bar, but I don’t think it tastes overly sweet.
On a flavor scale of one through ten, I would assign the Hershey’s Ice Cream Chocolate Eclair Bar a rating of 9.85 and I would assign the Good Humor Chocolate Eclair Bar a rating of 9.75.
Packaging
Hershey’s Ice Cream Chocolate Eclair Bar is packaged in a plastic wrapper that features an illustration of the enclosed bar set against a blue sky and what appear to be mountains of chocolate on the front and a listing of all relevant ingredient and nutritional information on the rear panel..
The Good Humor Chocolate Eclair Bar is packaged in an attractively designed predominantly brown and white plastic wrapper. The front of the wrapper shows an illustration of two of the enclosed bars and the rear label lists all pertinent ingredient and nutritional information.
Overall Rating
All things considered, both of these chocolate eclair bars are quite tasty and well-textured. Being completely objective, I would recommend both the Hershey’s Ice Cream Chocolate Eclair Bar and the Good Humor Chocolate Eclair Bar. Both products are very good and I can’t think of any negative attributes regarding either ice cream bar.
