Harvest Craft for Kids #1 – Apple Collage: Your child will enjoy this easy apple collage craft. Give your child a paper plate and some red paper. The red paper can be tissue paper, construction paper or even red junk mail. Have your child rip the red paper into pieces and then glue the pieces to the paper plate. Then let your child cut a green stem and two leaves out of a piece of green scrap paper. Have them glue the stem and leaves at the top of the paper plate. Harvest Craft for Kids #2 – Autumn Pumpkin: Have your child paint a small paper bowl with orange poster paint or acrylic paint. When the paint is dry, have your child draw some brown and dark orange stripes on the bottom of the bowl to give it a pumpkin look. Then have your child cut out a stem and some leaves out of scrap paper to glue at the top of the pumpkin. Let your child embellish the pumpkin with raffia or ribbon.
