Justin Chambers is your typical Midwestern guy, being born July 11, 1970 in Springfield, Ohio. Justin Chambers has a fairly large family, being one of five children. He also has a twin brother, Jason, and they are the family’s youngest children. Justin has two older sisters and an older brother. While Justin was a child, he and his twin brother frequented the hospital as they battled with pneumonia.
Justin and his wife, Keisha, have made heads turn as they are one of the sexiest interracial couples in Hollywood. Justin met Keisha while she was a modeling agent, while he was just starting his career. The couple was married in 1993. Like his family, Justin and Keisha Chambers have five children: daughters Isabella, twins Maya and Kaila, Eva, and a son named Jackson. Justin Chambers and his family have recently moved from the suburbs of New York City to Los Angeles. Justin has also revealed his daughters have formed a band called “Nyla.”
Justin Chambers’ Career
Justin Chambers began his career as a model, after being discovered on the Paris subway by a modeling scout. He modeled for Calvin Klein for one of the fashion mogul’s fragrance lines. Justin Chambers continued to model throughout Europe, Japan, and the United States for the Calvin Klein and Armani fashion lines.
Following his stint as a seasoned model, Justin Chambers decided his real passion was for the performing arts. He moved to New York to train at H.B. Studios. He remained at H.B. Studios for four years. After completing his training, Justin received his first breaks into the television arena.
Justin Chambers began to his the small screen by taking on ongoing roles for television shows. He had a role in Another World (1995) and another on New York Undercover (1996). Justin Chambers would find success in the television world as he appeared in other various television series, including a twenty-three episode stint on CBS’s Cold Case series from 2003-2004. Justin Chambers has remained a regular fixture on ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy.
Justin Chambers has a few movies under his belt. His first movie break happened in 1999 when he played the character Trey Tobelseted in Liberty Heights. The year 2001 would prove to be a fruitful year for Justin Chambers as he starred in the The Wedding Planner with Jennifer Lopez and then starred in the movie, The Musketeer as the leading role, D’Artagnan.
Justin Chambers’ movie success would not stop with the filming of The Musketeer. He played the character, Ryan, in the 2002 movie Leo. In 2003, Justin appeared in yet another movie, For Which It Stands, where he played a German soldier. In 2005, Justin was very busy as he starred in two movies, along with his role as Dr. Alex Karev on Grey’s Anatomy. Justin starred in the 2005 movie Southern Belles as Rhett Butler and as Inspector Matt Parish in the movie The Zodiac.
