Great Birthday Gifts for 3 Year-Old Boys

Birthday Gifts, Gifts for Boys, Remote Control Cars, Toddler Boys

Buying birthday gifts for toddler girls always seems much easier than buying birthday gifts for toddler boys. Parents, friends, and relatives have so many pretty, frilly, cute toys to choose from for girls while options for boys aren’t as abundant. Fortunately, toddler boys aren’t too picky about what they play with, it is rather easy to find great birthday gifts for boys, below are some toddler boy gifts for aged 3.

Coloring Book and Crayons- Crayola has a great line of coloring products to choose from which include markers, watercolor paints, magic markers and magic paper etc..
When purchasing a coloring book, try to get something interesting, something fun like jungle animals, dinosaurs, or popular themed characters such as Sesame Street, Diego etc.

Paint, Paint Brush and a Giant (Jumbo) Drawing Pad- This is a great and fun gift! Crayola makes giant drawing pads, which will provide children with hours of fun, because they can spend endless hours putting their imagination onto these giant pieces of papers. The paint brush and paint is optional, the birthday boy can easily be satisfied with a pack of markers and the drawing pad.

Remote Control Cars- This might sound expensive, but companies make remote control cars for little ones that are very affordable. The birthday boy will enjoy creating obstacles or making his car crash into a wall.

Dinosaurs in a bucket (Animal Planet) or Plastic Safari Animals- Animal Planet has a great line of plastic dinosaurs, that are very realistic looking, safe, durable, and of great size. Young boys will love creating jungle scenes!

Plastic Baseball and Bat Set- This gift will be great if the birthday boy’s birthday is near spring or summer, or if he lives in a warm climate area. This gift will last as it will most likely be lugged to the parks, and for outside play in the backyard.

Tool Set/ Tool Belt- Every boy needs a tool belt, he will feel like a little construction worker. Tool sets/ tool belts are great for role play!

Little People Play sets- Fisher Price makes safe, durable, plastic play sets. The Little People Animal Sounds Farm and the Little People Racing Garage play sets are great for little boys.

Bike- If you’re going for the bigger bucks, a boy’s bike is always great, just be sure that when shopping for a bike that you get the right size bike. If the boy has never rode a bike before, he might need some training wheels put on to it, and remember to get the helmet, knee pads, and elbow pads. Be sure to get the helmet, if you can not get any other padding. Sometimes the helmets run smaller than the child’s head so be aware of the child’s head size before purchasing a helmet. A helmet should fit snuggly, not too tight and not too loose.

If you would like to give the birthday boy clothes, try to put a small toy along with the clothes (such as a plastic play phone.) If you don’t want to buy a toy, make sure the clothes have some interesting characters on it such as Diego (if the young boy is in to the show,) dinosaurs, landscapes, stars, shapes etc.. something that will make the boy say, “Wow!”
