On May 25, 2007 Google Maps released the Street View Option. Since then millions of people have used it, some people making it an everyday routine. Street View allows anyone to view streets across the United States, United Kingdom, Netherlands, France, Italy, Spain, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand. Google cars have also been seen driving around Hawaii recently. In a matter of time, the entire world will be available over this program. There is a lot of controversy about Google Maps, and it continues to be published in headline news around the world.

Although Google Maps Street View is based on photos taken by Google cars instead of being real time, it is still very realistic. After clicking on the image, it will ask you to drag it to any street you wish to view. As long as the block you are trying to view is outlined in blue, there is Street View available.
