Get to Know the Characters of Kim Possible

Hana, Kim Possible

One of the most popular cartoons on Disney Channel is Kim Possible. In fact, it is actually in it’s fourth season. This is only because a large amount of fans of the show petitioned that it be run for a fourth season. Disney Channel’s main policy is that a show run for three seasons and then it is taken off the air and sometimes reruns are aired.

Get to know the characters of Kim Possible with this easy to follow guide.

Kim Possible

Kim Possible is the star of the show. She thinks of herself as an “average teenage girl.” However, she is anything but average. She uses her cheerleading skills to help save the world from villains.

Ron Stoppable

Ron has been Kim’s best friend for many years. In the fourth season, they are now girlfriend and boyfriend. He comes on missions with her and is known as her assistant or her sidekick. Through his fumbling, he always manages to help.

Rufus

Rufus is Ron’s pet naked mole rat. While he just had that bit at the beginning of the show, Rufus became quite popular. He has become a very important part of the show, often being able to go where Kim and Ron cannot reach during missions and helping with tasks.

Wade Load

Yes, the name is a joke on the character’s physical appearance. Wade is a ten year old super genius at the shows start. Like the other characters, he does not seem to age too much, but he must be at least eleven by now. He equips Kim with many different gadgets that she can use on her missions. He also spends most of his time locked up in his room. His mother does not tend to approve of this activity. In later seasons, he has actually come out of his room and into society, but it is still rare.

Dr. Drakken

Dr. Drakken is one of the villains in the show. He is not very smart, but he is always trying to come up with ways to take over the world. His skin is unexplainably blue. He was once Drew Lipski and was a classmate of Kim’s father.

Shego

Shego is Dr. Drakken assistant. It seems that he has hired her, but she smart mouths him every time. She is actually smart. She was once part of a group that actually fought evil, but she liked evil better. At times it can be hard to tell if Shego and Dr. Drakken are only coworkers or if they are in a relationship.

DNAmy

DNAmy loves cuddle buddies (a parody of Beanie Babies). They tend to be mixed animals (think The Wuzzles). Thus, she wants to create real live versions of cuddle buddies. That is really her only “evil” plan. She does not realize how dangerous this could be.
