Taste / Flavor
The flavor offered by Freschetta Four Cheese frozen pizza is definitely a cut – above that of many other brands and varieties of frozen pizzas. The crust maintains a pizza parlor – style flavor that is pleasant and agreeable, the sauce tastes like real pizza sauce and the blend of four cheeses is not over – powering. When combined, these flavors create a very tasty frozen pizza pie.
Preparation
When I ate the Freschetta Four Cheese frozen pizza recently, it was prepared according to package instructions in a conventional oven. As far as I know, that is the preferred method of cooking these frozen pies. The cooked pizza pie was crisp, but not overly – so and the cheeses were nicely – browned, yet still fairly gooey, like on a pizza parlor pie. When preparing a Freschetta Four Cheese frozen pizza in a conventional oven, pre – heat the oven to 400 degrees, then bake the frozen pie on a cookie sheet on the center rack of the oven for 19 – 23 minutes.
