Have you ever thought about making your own panties? I haven’t thought about it until I was searching for clothing patterns for articles. I came across some websites that had instructions for making homemade panties. There are 11 free women’s panties patterns to choose from.
One of the websites had the frilly panties we have seen in the stores that cost $5 and up per pair of panties. I find that most of the time those panties are made for younger women in their 20’s who are still skinny enough for the panties to fit them better than they would me, a woman in her 40’s now. The reason I brought this up is because when I was in my 20’s these types of panties fit me without issue. Today, my butt says I can’t wear them because these panties don’t fit my butt the way they use too.
Not that I am knocking the 20 somethings, but there are days when I do wish my butt would go back to my 20’s. Just my butt and not the rest of me because I know more now than I did back then. Yes, that’s beside the point for the free women’s panties patterns. Yes, I know there are these types of panties in women’s sizes but they don’t always fit properly.
I guess this is due to having one child and gaining an ever broadening butt due to my computer chair and older age. However, I don’t let that get to me so much because I do try out the new styles of women’s panties to see if I can find some that are wearable. In years past, I have been able to do that, but as with any type of clothing, styles change. We all know what that means, when the styles change, we have problems finding the panties and other pieces of clothing that fit us.
I am not sure that I feel energetic enough to try making my own homemade panties with these free patterns at this point. That doesn’t mean that later on I won’t give these free women’s panties patterns a shot just to see if they wear better than the ones in the stores.
