Guitar Chords, Guitar Tabs, Guitar Tips, How to Play Guitar Chords

Guitars, whether electric or acoustic, are one of a teenager’s most oft requested gifts. while boys used to dominate guitar playing, particularly electric guitar, girls are choosing the guitar with increasing numbers. Children are beginning to play the guitar at younger ages. It is not uncommon for 7 and 8 year olds to begin the guitar, even the electric guitar.

With guitar playing at an apex of popularity, these musicians need sheet music, chords and tablature, or guitar tabs as they are referred to by guitar players. As the parent of two completely self-taught avid guitar players, one for 9 year player and the other for 5 years, I have scoured the bookracks for suitable guitar chord books. I’ve probably dropped a neat $200-$300 on music and chord books. And if the guitar player practices frequently he’ll soon outgrow the chords and be ready for more and more complicated material.
