It’s A Big Big World Coloring Pages
It’s A Big Big World on PBS is a TV show for children that focuses on science, environmentalism and nature. The PBS page has a wide selection of free coloring pages featuring the animal characters from It’s A Big Big World.
Appreciating animals is one way that children can celebrate Earth Day. The free printables also include activities. Find a fun tree maze, color by numbers for preschoolers, a foot print matching activity, and a “name that animal activity.”

Find 10 very creative Earth Day coloring pages on this web site. There is a printable of the Earth wearing a gas mask, which may be appropriate for older kids. Very young children may be frightened by this image. There is also a free printable for Earth Day of the earth sneezing.
Also find recycle and reuse coloring pages to color and hang up by your trash basket. Some of the free Earth Day coloring pages show animals recycling, as well as humans.
Earth Day Coloring Posters
There are 10 Earthy Day images that can be printed in black and white or in color. The free printables may be used as posters to remind children, families and students about Earth Day.
