Additionally there is a forum set up for teachers to discuss and exchange ideas for use within the classroom. Teachers can also submit a lesson plan under the submit page of this website. Aside from journal topics, there are additional links for English Language Arts topics and also various other school subjects such as math, science, history, etc.

This website gives a list of lesson plans specifically for language arts organized in K-5, 6-8, and 9-12 sections. Each section has various lesson plans with a direct link to the lesson, but also has annotation with the lesson title and possible grade levels for which each lesson could be used or modified. The lessons categorized in this list give the overview of each lesson, author, grade-level recommendation, objectives, materials needed and procedures with variation for the lesson. Each lesson ends with a “Tying it all together” section for closure. It’s a good website for creative alternatives to daily lessons.

This website has a myriad of lesson plans for ELA which can be searched by grade bands of all grades, k-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12.
