Free Cross Stitch Patterns Online

Free Cross Stitch Charts, Free Cross Stitch Designs

If you’re looking for free cross stitch patterns, you’ll be pleased to know that there are many places on the internet where you can get free, quality cross stitch patterns. This is a list of some of the best I’ve found.

DMC

DMC is the most popular embroidery floss manufacturer in the United States. They often have nice, contemporary patterns that bring out the best qualities in their different product lines. Their website has free cross stitch and embroidery designs for cotton embroidery floss and variegated floss (color variations) as well as satin floss, light effects floss, and pearl cotton.

For their patterns, click here.

The Caron Collection

The Caron Collection specializes in beautiful threads for many types of embroidery. Most of the patterns on their site are for other types of embroidery but they do have an online class for a cute little pattern called “Aegean Garden. For beginning cross stitchers, this pattern is somewhat complex but broken down to make it easy. I’m sure you could substitute your own colors for the Caron colors it suggests, but do try their variegated threads at some point to see what a difference quality floss can make. Check out Aegean Garden and visit their archives and free patterns for more wonderful ideas.
