Some women have a personal preference of not wearing full coverage foundation. Add the home made primer mixture under tinted moisturizers, mineral powders, or any type of face powder that has a hint of pigmented color that matches personal skin tone.
Throughout the day even without a full coverage foundation the color that is added with the makeup will stay on. If no makeup at all is worn try two drops of moisturizer with one part Milk of Magnesia. Rub in the mixture to ensure there are no white marks. This application will help keep the visible shine down. Cream Blush
Try various shades of cream blush over foundation, but before powder is added to set the makeup. L’Oreal Hip has a great inexpensive line of cream blushes. If only powder blush is available make sure to put an extra coat of the homemade primer on the apples of the cheeks for all day coverage. This works well if this is the part of the face that seems to have the most shine from natural oils.
