In what I see as being another affirmation of my middle-aged status in life, earlier this year, I began drinking decaf coffee in addition to regular coffee. The retail price normally charged for one 8 ounce jar of Folgers Classic Decaf instant coffee at Hartford, Connecticut area supermarkets is approximately $5.79. Considering the great taste and overall high quality of this product, I think that this price is very reasonable.
Taste / Flavor
As with any type of food or beverage item, the taste or flavor of the product is very important. The flavor offered by Folgers Classic Decaf instant coffee is very pleasant and enjoyable. As soon as I add boiling water to this instant decaf coffee, it releases a wonderful aroma that rivals any fresh – brewed coffee. With some brands of instant decaf coffee, the products taste different from regular coffee. Not so with Folgers Classic Decaf. This instant decaf coffee maintains a flavor that is very close to that of rich, high – quality regular coffee. When paired with a piece of pastry, donut, muffin or other breakfast treat, the taste of this instant decaf coffee is absolutely wonderful.
Preparation
Enjoying a cup of Folgers Classic Decaf instant coffee is very quick and easy to do. According to the product label, one slightly rounded teaspoon is enough coffee for one 6 ounce cup. Truth be told, when I prepare a cup of Folgers Classic Decaf, or any other brand or type of instant coffee, I usually use approximately two teaspoons, because I prefer a stronger cup of coffee.
