Earlier this month, I shopped for the first time at Flower Factory Wholesale Superstore on the Southside of Indianapolis. I had been eyeing the Flower Factory Wholesale Superstore since construction and had eagerly awaited its opening. Before its arrival to the Southside of Indianapolis, I had never heard of Flower Factory Wholesale Superstore. In fact, I saw everything but flowers (Artificial flowers were located in the back corner of the store).
A sign near the entrance of Flower Factory Wholesale Superstore indicated that I should approach the customer service desk if I were a first time visitor. A friendly associate greeted me and explained that Flower Factory Wholesale Superstore required membership. However, membership was free, and all I needed for membership was a valid driver’s license and social security number. If I owned a small business, I could apply for a business membership with a Tax ID number. She explained that only three of the Flower Factory Wholesale Superstores were open to business members and the public. All other Flower Factory Wholesale Superstores were only open to businesses members. Furthermore, the pricing of the merchandise at the Flower Factory Wholesale Superstore is the same for both type of stores.

With a Flower Factory Wholesale Superstore membership card, you can buy its items online and see what items are currently on sale in the store and online. You can find thousands of items in the store and online including pottery, costume jewelry, art supplies, seasonal decorations, floral supplies, wood and wicker baskets, lawn and garden merchandise, home decor, purses, pet supplies, gourmet food items, stuffed animals, cleaning supplies, wedding accessories, craft items, toys and more at wholesale pricing.
The great thing about Flower Factory Wholesale Superstore is that you can buy individual items and purchase them at wholesale cost. You don’t have to buy twelve teddy bears or twenty packs of beads to buy it at the wholesale price. You can buy one item at wholesale cost unless the item naturally comes in a pack like a set of plastic spoons or forks. For business members an additional 10% discount is given for the purchase of a case of goods. While members of the public cannot return merchandise, business members have 48 hours to report and return damaged goods for credit.
You can find some great prices on items that you will pay for much more at retail stores. The items sold at Flower Factory Wholesale Superstore are not close out items that had been sitting on other retailer’s shelves for years. You will find items at Flower Factory Wholesale Superstore that are currently being sold at retail stores at a higher cost. However, some items such as Christmas trees and mirrors are not as competitively priced.� I’ve seen Christmas trees and mirrors at a cheaper or the same cost when on sale at retail stores.
The Flower Factory Wholesale Superstore on the Southside of Indianapolis is the largest Flower Factory Wholesale Superstore in Indiana. It used to house the old K-Mart on 7667 S. Shelby St. on the Southside of Indianapolis. The Flower Factory Wholesale Superstore on the Southside of Indianapolis is located in the same plaza as PetSmart (Greenwood Place) at the stoplight north of Stop 11 Road on Hwy US 31. According to its website, each Flower Factory Wholesale Superstore boasts an average of 80,000 square feet for your wholesale shopping pleasure. Be sure to wear comfy shoes. Your feet will get tired.
Upon my second visit to the Flower Factory Wholesale Superstore I forgot my membership card. All they needed from me was a photo ID. Another membership card was issued to me.� With the extra card, I keep one in my purse and one in the glove compartment of my car just in case.
