Fit Smart Shake chocolate high fiber protein shake is part of the Fiber 35 Diet plan by Brenda Watson.
I’ve bought products by Brenda Watson of ReNew Life since I was in my twenties. ReNew Life, based in Palm Harbor, Florida, is the maker of several herbal cleansing products such as Diet Smart cleanse, colon cleanse as well as enzyme and fiber products.
Watson authored “The Fiber 35 Diet,” which, as the title suggests, encourages dieters to consume 35 grams of fiber a day. She sells fiber chews, sprinkle fiber, fit smart bars and the Fit Smart shake to help people achieve their fiber intake goals.
I was curious to review the Fit Smart Shake Chocolate Crème extremely high fiber protein shake after reviewing Spiru-Tein Peanut Butter Swirl energy shake by Nature’s Plus, Amazing Grass super food, Almased or the Bikini Emergency Plan shake and Fast Shake by Quick Trim, the Kardashian protein shake.
Fit Smart shake provides a double punch for dieters because it contains whey, which curbs appetite, as well as fiber, which fills you up. It would be ideal for people on an abs diet.
In terms of taste, the shake does not leave an after-taste like similar products. It creates an extremely fluffy shake if you just use ice and water. I personally prefer to add peanut butter for flavor, but you don’t really need to add yogurt as it already has a lot of protein.
Here are some facts about Fit Smart Chocolate flavored high-fiber protein shake:
No. 1: Fit Smart Shake Chocolate Crème contains 140 calories, less than 1 gram of fat, 10 grams of fiber, 20 grams of protein and 2 grams of sugar in two scoops. I prefer to use 1 1/2 scoops so that I can have a shake with about 15 grams of protein, but everyone is different.
No.2: Fit Smart Shake Chocolate Crème: The shake contains an enzyme blend which is helpful for digestion.
No. 3: Fit Smart Shake Chocolate Crème: The high fiber protein shake product does contain Stevia Extract from the Stevia plant. I like Stevia as a natural sweetener because it contains no calories and is not artificial.
No. 4: Fit Smart Shake Chocolate Crème: The high fiber protein shake is gluten-free.
No. 5: Fit Smart Shake Chocolate Crème: The protein shake contains soluble Acacia fiber and whey protein. According to researchers, whey protein shakes can help you lose fat and preserve muscle. Researchers from the Minnesota Applied Research Center in Minneapolis found having a whey protein shake before a meal decreased appetite. Study participants who had the whey protein lost 8 pounds versus 3.5 in the placebo group.
Some suggested ways to blend the Fit Smart Shake include 2 scoops Fit Smart with 1/2 frozen banana, 1/2 cup frozen berries and 1 cup cold water. You may also mix with soy, rice or regular milk.
I purchased FitSmart from Whole Foods Market, but I’ve also seen it sold at health foods stores.
I give FitSmart a 4.5 out of 5 for nutrition and a 4 out of 5 for taste.
