Fisher-Price Little People Fun Park

Little People

My son received the Fisher-Price Little People Fun Park as a present for his second birthday. I didn’t let him open it right away because he already had so many present I didn’t want to overwhelm him. I put it in the basement and totally forgot about it. Just last week, which is four months past his birthday we were in the basement doing laundry and he spotted it. I asked him if he liked it and we brought it upstairs. I opened the box and put it together for him right away.

It was so simple to assemble. I always get nervous when my husband isn’t home and I need to put a toy together for my son. Some of these toys are so difficult to assemble. So I was pleasantly surprised to see how easy the Fisher-Price Little People Fun Park was to put together.

As soon as it was done, my son started playing with it right away. There are so many aspects of this fun park he didn’t know which one to play with first. He seems to love the slide. He takes his little fun people and their cars and slides them down the slide. He even takes cars from his other toys and plays with them on this slide. Next, he started playing with the Ferris wheel. He would put his little fun people on the seats and would swing them around. Next was the clown house. He loved running his cars through the swinging door and watching them fall to the floor. I can’t even tell you how many times he did this over and over. Last, he played with the carousel. He would put his little fun people in the seats and watch them turn and turn.

Here are my dislikes about the toy. The carousel and the Ferris wheel keep popping off. This couldn’t be more annoying. He gets so frustrated when this happens and keeps asking, “Mommy fix this.” I feel bad because he really starts to get into his “play” and he has to keep stopping so I can fix it. I would have to say this is really the only thing I don’t like about this toy. Everything else seems to be great. The quality is good. Even though the toy is made out of plastic, nothing has broken. My son has taken this toy and thrown it on the floor, not in anger, just in play and nothing broke off. I was shocked. Except of course for the Ferris wheel and the carousel, which always fall off. He even uses the little fun people to play with some of his other toys.

I like that there is so much on the Fisher-Price Little People Fun Park to keep my son interested in playing with it for more than five minutes. He has played with this toy for almost an hour just using his imagination and creativity. I just watch him in amazement that he can be so creative with just one toy. This was definitely worth the money spent. I am not sure how much was spent but I would guess around $40. This is a pretty significant toy which many different parts for your child to play with. In addition, as I stated earlier, this toy can be interactive with other toys as well.

I would definitely buy this toy for a friend. I wonder if there is a way to keep the Ferris wheel and the carousel from falling off. Maybe Fisher Price can work on this problem. The Fisher-Price Little People Fun Park has so many bright and interesting colors and designs to keep your child excited and focused. I really do love this great toy.
