There are several things I love about this store. For one thing, they always have a table just as you walk in the door with sample products for you to try. Also if you would like a smaller container of something, they will make a smaller container for you. For example, there was a parmesan coating mix to coat chicken in before baking , which I loved, but it was in a very large quantity container, all I had to do was ask and they put some of that coating mix into a smaller container for me to buy. They are friendly, helpful, and can give you all kinds of information on their product lines.
Also another of my favorite things about this store is that they have baskets of individual candy that you can get a few pieces of or by the bag full and it is not the new stuff— nope, it is the old fashioned type candy that you used to get when you were a kid like bit-o-honey, taffy bats, and runts. Not only do they have candy, but they have a wide range of sweet treats you will not find elsewhere like dried fruits and fruit mixes such as Cajun peanut snax, and unsweetened banana chips that are very fresh and tasty. They have a wonderful variety of sugar-free candy such as sugar-free gumdrops and sugar-free cashew cluster mix.
You will find every kind of spice, coating mix, baking ingredient, and flavor you can imagine in Kountry Kupboard. They even have variety of cheeses and butters to choose from to enhance your food. The best part is most of this stuff is totally healthy and good for you!! Sure you can buy vanilla extract flavoring at your local grocery store, but, at Kountry Kupboard, you find Peach extracts, peppermint extract, and raspberry extract!! This store will help you explore all the unique cooking experiences you have always dreamed of trying!
